How to know your going to heaven

This life is temporary, we must consider where we will spend eternity. The bible says we will end up in one of two places...Heaven or Hell.

How to get to heaven:

First you must recognize that you are a sinner before a holy and righteous God...
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."Romans 3:23
The bible says the penalty for sin is death (separation from God) "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Then, believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and through Him is the only way to Heaven..."For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" Acts 4:12

Finally, pray to God and ask forgiveness of your sins. Accept that Christ died, was buried, and rose again for your sins, and invite Him into your life.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus , and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10
